First Quarter 2017

Income Inequality

In light of the recent focus in policy circles on rising income inequality, this edition of Banking Perspectives examines this very issue. While banking may not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering ways to reduce income and wealth disparities, banks play an important role in the income inequality debate because of their role in distributing credit across the economy.
